Obituary: Carrillo, Ann Corbett (Annie) Ann Corbett Carrillo (Annie) 68, formerly, Marjorie Ann Rowley, passed away on May 7, 2014, after a long, and incredibly valiant battle against cancer. Ann was born in Iowa City, Iowa on March 10, 1946. Her parents were Doctor Thomas O. Rowley, and Mary Barbara Rowley. The family moved to Arizona when Ann was 2 years of age. Ann attended Mesa High School and Colorado State University. Ann retired after 25 years from Alpha Beta/ABCO. Ann had many hobbies and interests. She made beautiful stained glass items, decorated pavers with various themes, loved gardening, beading, crocheting, was incredible with crossword puzzles, was an avid Harry Potter fan (read all the books and saw every movie more than once), enjoyed traveling, was a marvelous cook and baker, and loved taking motorcycle rides with her husband, Carl. Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Carl S. Carrillo, brother, Richard J. Rowley, step-daughter, Andrea L. Shahriari, granddaughter, Sidney M. Shahriari and a large extended family. She also had many wonderful friends. Ann was a beautiful lady. She was deeply loved by all and she loved them all in return. She will be greatly missed by everyone. At Ann's request, there will not be a memorial service. Ann will be laid to rest with her husband, Carl, when he passes (or perhaps sooner) at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona The family requests that any donations be sent to the Melanoma Division.

DONNA M GREENE (HARRISON)
2015-03-14 20:32:01Donna was born June 23, 1946 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was the first of three children (Donna, Rita & Willie) born to Willie and Evelyn Greene. Donna passed away Tuesday morning after enduring many years of health problems. During her last days on earth she was surrounded by her loved ones. Dustin Harrison, Garrett and Kiresten Harrison, Tate and April Harrison, Theron and Laura Harrison, Tanner and Crystal Harrison, 14 grandchildren, sister Rita Dyer, father Willie Greene and devoted caregiver Darlis Garrison. She is preceded in death by her brother Willie and mother Evelyn. "It wasn't the years on this body it's the mileage" was the way Donna would describe how she survived her life after raising five vivacious and dynamic sons. She loved funny things. She enjoyed every holiday by decorating, celebrating, and spending time with her family and friends. While raising her boys and running her household she worked at home for the family business Wally Harrison Electric. She worked for What's New, Southwest Eye Center and Cypress Court for many years and was known for spending Friday nights at the movies with her beloved friends. Donna's greatest legacy will be the strong men she raised who now are devoted fathers and uncles to her cherished 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at the LDS Chapel 920 S. Lindsay Rd., Mesa, Arizona. A viewing will be held Monday evening, March 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. MacDonald, Mesa, Arizona and 9:00 a.m. March 17th at the church.
