CHANDLER AZ Retired Married 2 2019-08-05 20:40:52MOVED TO CHANDLER, AZ IN 2014
I live in Seattle now, closer to my girls and 4 grandchildren. We are still traveling a lot, especially to Africa, my favorite spot in the world! My husband retired in January and I'm trying to adjust to having him underfoot 24/7. It's nice to be able to pick up and go with scheduling anything more than a dog sitter.
There is a possibility that we may not be able to attend. We won't know until mid October.

11-25-09 UPDATE- I WILL SEE YOU AT THE REUNION
11-20 With regrets, I will not be able to attend this fabulous get together, our 45th reunion. I have enjoyed reading about all the wonderful plans taking shape. You all are a great planning group.!!!. Bill Alberts and I married in Feb. of 1966 and our daughter was born while we were living in Seattle. She and her husband live here in Mesa and have 2 boys. 18 and 14. Bill passed in 1988. I'm remarried. I have taught school, been an administrative assistant, secretary at Motorola, assembly and senior inspector for F18 and Apache Helicopters. I've stood on the beach at Cape Canaveral and felt the earth tremble while watching the Apollo rockets launch . Places I have lived include Cocoa Beach Fla. Seattle Wa. Portland Or. Port Hueneme and Santa Maria Ca. and Honolulu..Gardening and Art (painting and sketching) keep my hobby room looking lived in. I am a big fan of music. 60's and on, with a bit of Sinatra. Country sounds good and so does old fashioned rock'n roll. COOKING is even more exciting than painting. Well almost. I needed to take a medical retirement from Boeing in the mid 2000's It tries to keep me down but I won't let it . I would love to rec. a call or e-mail . To all of our classmates "CARRY ON" Lynnette

SEE YOU AT THE REUNION
Life has proven to be far more interesting than I dreamed about in high school! Marriage to my best buddy (Jim), enjoying our children and grandchildren. I worked as an RN and nursing faculty for enough years to actually retire, and now I teach as an adjunct at PVCC. I rarely go into a hospital in the valley without running into a former student. Wonderful family and friends, a very satisfying career - I am blessed!

JOAN IS ATTENDING THE 50TH REUNION
JOAN WOULD LIKE TO SEE:
BECKY NEILL FARIS
CHERYL DUFFEL WINFREY
BEVERLY SCOTT MAYNARD
I am living in Utah now so won't be able to attend any of the reunions. I do, however, hope to get to our 50th.
Thanks for the information on Gerald and Tom. Gerald was a good friend of mine in high school, and I knew he hasn't been well for a long time. I didn't know Tom well, but I know he hasn't been well recently.
Have fun, all, and hope to see you in 2014!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
SEE YOU AT THE REUNION!!!
It was wonderful to see everyone again. You did a fantastic job getting the reunion together -- great venue, food, and fellow classmates! Thanks for all your hard work, and this website is the best! See you at the 50th!
